My Story

Welcome to my blog!  My name is Helen Onulak.  I’m a wife, a mother to three boys, and I try to make a difference every day.  Stamping and scrapbooking are my passion.  I LOVE learning different techniques and figuring out the easy way to do things.  I find I’m always sharing tips, tricks and ideas when I’m at crops or workshops.  I hope they help you too.

Because I am passionate about stamping and scrapbooking, I am also a Close To My Heart independent consultant – and I love every minute of it!  I love my job because I’m always meeting people who love to document their family history through scrapbooking and people who love to celebrate special events through the form of hand-made greeting cards.  I attend parties and pamper the heck out of my hostesses with great free products and discounts and a special gift hand-made by me!  I show people how they can save time and money and we always do a free hands-on project.  And I get paid for it!  It doesn’t get much better than that!

I love maximizing the use of a paper pack.  Every month I design a scrapbook workshop that helps you Get More Done by using my signature cutting guides.  For those that have to get the kit “to-go”, I write up instructions.  My background in training and documentation really shines as you follow these instructions.  You’ll get all the tips & tricks as if I were there with you.

I love that by sharing my love of stamping and scrapbooking with others, that I can also make a difference in the life of a child.  Close To My Heart partnered with Operation Smile and we help to provide life-changing surgeries for children with clef lips and clef palettes.

I am also passionate about mentoring and supporting people in achieving their dreams and goals.  As a business builder, I have the privilege of doing just that for my team members who are achieving the goals they set.  I love to celebrate their achievements and accomplishments.
