With a new Idea Book, over 30 consultants have joined together to show off some of the new products.  The new 5″ x 7″ Hinged Display Tray was perfect to capture some highlights from the CTMH Southern Caribbean Cruise that I earned (with many thanks to all of YOU!).

Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, sit back and be inspired by all the projects everyone has come up with.  Follow the hop to get LOT of ideas that YOU can take and duplicate with this wonderful stamp set. If you arrived here from Misty’s blog you’re on the right path.

Start Creating Now

The smaller boxes in the 5″ x 7″ Hinged Display Tray are 3.5″ wide and 2.5″ tall.  The large opening is 3.5″ wide and just shy of 5.25″ tall.  Tip: The large opening could be on the left…or the right…whatever works for you!

Photos…I know you’re going to ask…how do you get these so SMALL???  I used Microsoft Word.  I brought in the photos and resized them there.  All these photos printed on one 8.5″ x 11″ photo paper.  Think SMALL.

This is the left side of my display tray.  Instead of giving full directions…I’ll give you the highlights & tips & tricks for creating this.

Top Left

Using Desert Sand ink, stamp the Ship’s Wheel and cut out.  Now and throughout, using Desert Sand ink and a Foam Tool distress the edges of all stamped images and papers.

Attach an Artisan Stud in the center.  Tip: Use a Piercing Tool to make it easier to pick up the Artisan Stud and put it in place.

Using Outdoor Denim ink, stamp the Sentiment on Colonial White cardstock and cut out.  Tip: To give the sentiment dimension, pull the strip over the handles of your scissors…it will then be flexible so you can put a wave in it.  Use 3D Foam Tape to support the higher areas.

The little flags under the photo are from one of the Zip Strips.

Top Right

Tie a piece of White Hemp around the Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon in a double knot.  Then, slide the knot to the desired position and trim ends of ribbons as desired.  Secure with Glue Dots.

Use the Edge Distresser on any cardstock that doesn’t fill the display tray box.  Tip: Really give it a scrub with the Edge Distresser…little kids are the best…they’ll growl – do it…really…you’ll find it makes it much easier to get into the act of distressing.  Tip: The Edge Distresser is also great to use with curling ribbon :-)

Bottom Left

Using Honey ink, stamp the Anchor Sentiment on Colonial White cardstock.  Cut out following the inner circle.

Cut a 0.75″ strip of the blue patterned paper and score every 0.25″.  Pleat, then glue the ends together.  Flatten and attach to the back of the cut Anchor.

Using Liquid Glass, add White Hemp around the inner circle.

Using Desert Sand ink, stamp the Rope on Colonial White cardstock and cut out.

Add a large Artisan Stud and two small Artisan Studs.

Here’s the right side of the display tray.

Top Right

Using Outdoor Denim ink stamp the Star on Colonial White cardstock and cut out.

Add two small Artisan Studs.

Bottom Right

Take a 1″ piece of Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon and fold it back on itself, gluing it together.  Tuck under the edge of the photo and add a small Artisan Stud.

Ken is loving this new addition to our Home Decor…maybe because it was also his Valentine’s Day gift :-)

Now “hop” on over to see what {Kathleen} has created.
