August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

By Helen | August 1, 2009

Welcome to the August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop…featuring It’s Your Day.  If you’ve come here from Heather’s blog, then you’re on the right path.

This month, we have over 60 CTMH Consultants participating – WOW – that’s LOTS of ideas!  To follow along…just click the link at the end of each post to move on to the next.

Before I continue – let me say, this is a must have stamp set!  There are so many possibilities.  I’ll be sharing more great ideas with this stamp set – so be sure to check back often!

As soon as I saw this stamp set, I immediately came up with the idea of doing a border, or strip with the cake pieces.  The colors were inspired by the Color Me Monday: Give Yourself the Blues that CTMH’s founder & CEO Jeanette Lynton shared.  I added Juniper to the combination and I think it gives it a fun, festive feel.  This is my own card design.

Materials Used:

Be sure to visit all the blogs to get some great ideas using the It’s Your Day stamp set.

Please leave comments as you go…it’s nice to know someone’s stopped by to visit.  Remember, the August Stamp of the Month is only available until August 31st.  Contact your CTMH Consultant or visit my website to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

Now…hop on over to Barbra’s blog to see what she’s created.

Here’s a list of all the participating CTMH Consultants…just in case you get lost along the way or find a link that isn’t working.  Post updated  to include a brief description of the different projects so you can quickly find something you’ve seen before.  This will be helpful if you decide to get the stamp set and need ideas – there will be over 60 of them to inspire you!

I love how you used the cake layers to make the bachground border. I don’t make this size card often (if ever), but after looking at the cool cards on the hop, I think I may have to give it a go!
