This month we have almost 70 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month’s Stamp of the Month and other great CTMH products on their blogs. Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and relax as you join on for the hop! It’s simple to do – just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go…
I was inspired by Jeanette Lynton’s Color Me Monday post titled Make the Outdoors Great. I felt the Sunflower color would be perfect for the flowers, the Indian Corn Blue would capture the sky, and the Desert Sand and Olive the ground.
This card is 6″ x 6″ and is my own design. Hard to tell with the photo that there’s Indian Corn Blue ink sponged onto the background behind the floating seeds.
This card is 5.5″ x 4.25″ and is my own design. For this one, I used colored pencils to add more depth and definition to the flower petals.

As I was playing with the stamps, I wanted to create an outdoor scene. This last card is 7″ x 5″. I will put together a tutorial for how I did this. It’s a combination of embossing with Clear Embosssing Powder and sponging on color with the Round Sponge.
Materials Used:
- CTMH Treasure Stamp Set (September’s Stamp of the Month) D1375
- Z891 VersaMark Ink Pad
- Z555 Craft Heater
- CTMH Z673 White Daisy Embossing Powder
- CTMH Z2160 Twilight Ink Pad
- CTMH Z726 Sponge Daubers
- Assorted papers: Indian Corn Blue cardstock, Sunflower patterned paper from Magic Moments paper pack and Olive wood patterned paper from Back Country, White Daisy Cardstock
Now “Hop” on over to Debra’s Blog to see her what she’s created!

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!

Nice, sunny color combo. And I really like how you have the “fly away” stamps coming off of the larger flower in your first card.

Your cards are awesome! Altough I was able to get a better look by clicking on them, I have a feeling these pictures are not doing them justice and they are prettier in person. The color combo is beautiful. Be sure to tell Kenneth that his card rock! I saw it yesterday in my “travels” and forgot to leave a comment. TFS.
