Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

By Helen | May 31, 2009

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop and to those coming from Terrie’s Blog!  We are featuring the June Stamp of the Month (SOTM) which is Tender Tags (a set of 15 stamps).

This month, we have 42 CTMH Consultants sharing their creations – how cool is that?!?  You will be inspired by all the different ways everyone thinks of for using this stamp set.  Grab your favorite beverage, a comfy chair and join us on the journey.

As soon as I saw the one tag, I knew I wanted to create a 3D flower.  While creating the flower and thinking…where will I use this flower, I thought of the My Creations(TM) Memory Keeper Box.

I used Creme Brulee, Hollyhock and Smokey Plum inks for the flower, then added a center made with the Buttoned Together stamp set and one of the Autumn Craft Buttons.  I chose the new Bella paper pack to use for covering the box.  Of course, the box has to be filled with something…coordinating cards!  Take a look at the cards I created using the Just Because Card Workshop from the new Wishes card how-to book.

Now “hop” on over to Ronnie’s Blog and see what she’s created.  Be sure to visit all the blogs to get some great crafting ideas.  Please leave comments as you go…it’s nice to know someone’s stopped by to visit.  Remember, the June Stamp of the Month is only available until June 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant or visit my website to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount or even free!

bellacj1 All the cards are made using the Bella paper pack and ink colors that coordinate (Creme Brulee, Smokey Plum, Hollyhock and Olive).I love the little swirly stamps in this set – that’s what’s in the square in the center.
For this card, I used the Thanks stamp with the teenie, tiny heart, I love the little added touch. bellaci1
bellach1 A few sparkles add an unexpected touch.  I inked the stamp in Creme Brulee first, then rolled the edges in Hollyhock.
The small fleur-de-lis stamp can be used to look like a brad! For this one, I inked the stamp in Creme Brulee first, then rolled the edges in Smokey Plum. bellacg1
Simple, elegant, understated. It would be so easy to add one of the sentiment stamps to this card. Does CTMH have sparkle brads…it looks that way, doesn’t it! It’s just a sparkle, put in the spot where you could put a brad.bellacfcloseup1 bellacf1
bellace1 I stamped the Vanilla Cream cardstock on the right side using the small swirly stamps and Creme Brulee ink.  I could see this stamp cut this way as door hinges…like those old-fashioned hammered ones.
Ok…I must love the small swirly stamps…here they are again, just floating across the card. bellacd1
bellacc1 How about one more with swirls!
Added a button. bellacal1
bellacb1 I just had to play, play, play with the tags to see if I could come up with something unique…here you have it…a border!  I envision this border used across the top of a scrapbook page.  It’s created with a series of the same stamp I used for the one with the hinge, and then added the tiny fleur-de-lis in between them.  This card can also be turned to be a top fold card.

Here’s a list of all the participating CTMH Consultants…just in case you get lost along the way or find a link that isn’t working.
