A Little About Me

Helen Onulak

I am a crafter at heart. I've tried all sorts of crafts, from stamping and scrapping to beading, knitting, quilting, painting, and jewlery making.

I love that when I work, I get to something I love to do...teaching others the art of scrapping & stamping.

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

I am loving the Criss Cross Cards.  Here’s one I made using the same dimensions as the criss cross card pocket I used on the Almost Perfect layout.

The insert pulls out.  Not sure if you can tell from the photos tha the star and the arrow have CTMH’s Liquid Glass on them.  That makes them […]

From the second sheet of […]

Serendipity Paper Candy

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

Today we’re going to be making calorie-free Serendipity Paper Candy.
First - what is “Paper Candy”?  As Pat Huntoon (the technique junkie and writer of The Technique Trail) says…”little embellishments that you make and attach to acetate for others — so that they can peel them off and use them on their own creations.”
Pat had shared a […]

Serendipity Card 1

Friday, December 28th, 2007

On Splitcoaststampers I saw a technique called Reverse Spotlighting.  I started thinking…the textured cardstock is double sided…there are multiple colors of the diecuts…hmmm…maybe, just maybe we can use the Reverse Spotlighting technique to create a fun card.
For the Serendipity Layout 1 we cut a 5″ x 12″ strip of Chocolate Textured Carstock.  Using the remaining […]
