Sowlar – Top 10 Finalist at Game Festival

Ken and I are so proud of our son, Robert and his Freshman video game team.  Their ASCII-based video game Sowlar was a Top 10 Finalist at IndieCade – the International Festival of Independent Games.  IndieCade features video games made by small teams and individuals.

Johnson & Wales Visit

Andrew and I flew out to Denver last weekend for the Johnson & Wales Wildcat Weekend.  We had a tour of the dorms and the main building for culinary/bakery & pastry arts.

Andrew’s Going to Johnson & Wales!

We are so proud & excited that Andrew has finally received the “official” letter indicating that he’s been accepted to the Johnson & Wales Early Enrollment Program.  This means that Andrew will finish his senior year of high school, his freshman year of college.  Additionally, Andrew has received an Academic Scholarship!

Magic in Orlando

I am here in sunny Orlando, FL for the Close To My Heart convention.  Today, I attended the leadership day where we played with the new September Word Puzzle and learned different ways to use the sanding kit.  We received some new products!!!  New chipboard, new tools, new papers…how exciting!!!!
