Scrapbook Challenge 16
By Helen | July 19, 2009
Scrapbook Challenge 16 was inspired by a layout that Lynn Como did with the Sarsaparilla Papers. When I saw the Moon Doggie papers and all the blue in them, I wanted to make a layout that would work for beach or vacation photos by water.
This week’s Scrapbook Challenge comes to us from the Reflections how-to book. We’re using the Bottom Border – Title on page 35 and the Front & Center – Focal on page 71. The Reflections how-to book is the ultimate in flexibility…there are single page layouts that you can mix and match with other layouts. The fun part is how many different combinations you can create with it.
If you are in my Scrapbook Club and doing the Moon Doggie layouts, this is one of the layouts you will be making! Here’s my sample…
Materials Used:
- CTMH Moon Doggie Paper Pack X7111B
- CTMH Moon Doggie My Stickease X7111C
- CTMH Footprints Stamp Set D1281
- CTMH Journey Journal Spots X1409
- Hemp – Natural Z280
- CTMH Desert Sand Ink
- Texture Tools
What type of giveaway will I have this week? Hmm…there’s a card workshop in the new Wishes how-to book. I’ll be making up those cards! You will receive the complete set of cards I make – how cool is that? I’ll be sharing the cards here throughout the week for you to see.
To be “in” on the drawing…you must create a scrapbook layout and SHARE the photos in one of these ways:
- Post the photos on my Facebook Fan Page - you can upload them into the photo album there.
- Post on your Facebook Wall or in your Facebook Photo Album – friend me so I can see them.
- Post on a public blog. Don’t have a blog – you can get a free blog at either Blogger or WordPress.
When you leave your comment, make sure I know where to look for your photos.
Deadline for getting in the drawing is 6:00pm on July 26th.

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!

So bummed that I didn’t get in on #15–just not enough time in the day and we were on vacation!
Plenty of pics to scrap now… so I’ll be posting for this one!
Thanks for the inspiration. I love the colors on your layout.
