Surprise, Surprise…Blog Awards
By Helen | May 31, 2009
I came back from a weekend crop to find I’ve been given four Blog Awards! My VERY FIRST Blog Award came from Carol Labuski. Aw geeee (I’m blushing). I also found Blog Awards, listed in order that I received them:
You have made me SMILE and touched my heart. I am honored and thankful to have been picked.
Now I must award it to 5 people who have blogs that I feel show great attitude and gratitude. (Or…do I have to award it to 20 people, one for each of the awards I’ve received?)
The rules of this award are as follows:
*comment on this blog
*cut and paste the award logo and use it on your own blog
*nominate 5 to 10 blogs you feel show great attitude and gratitude
*link to your nominees within your blog post
*comment on their blogs to let them know they received the award
*link back to the person who gave you the award to show your appreciation
And the award goes from ME to YOU special bloggers who show great attitude and gratitude …
- Karen Pedersen - grounded in faith, strong family ties, humble and the biggest heart of giving and sharing…and she makes incredible artwork – she has a wonderful eye for adding embellishments and I’m always inspired by her work.
- Lisa Stenz - always sharing her talents with others through her art.
- Nona Davenport – a truly amazing and blessed woman who finds the best in every situation…and God has blessed her with an talent for writing journaling that is meaningful and moving…her Five Days with Noah album is priceless. I look forward to seeing photos of the upcoming adoption & send hugs & prayers her way.
- Tresa Black - fun, humorous, always grateful, and as her blog title says…Fabulously Artsy…she creates wonderful tutorials and amazing artwork.
- Vicki Wizniuk – abundance is a word that comes to mind – an abundance of artwork that is!
- Kelly English-Triggs – blessed with the ability to think WAY outside the box…give this talented lady something new, like the True Fit Folios and she comes up with an accordion album that everyone loves. Or…the Creation Cubes (TM) and she makes a stack of Baby Blocks.
There are so many people I know who show great attitude and gratitude. Some of these individuals don’t have blogs (that I know of)…and I want to acknowledge them just the same:
- Lynn Como – faith, stamina, perserverance, determination and a desire to achieve. She inspires, teaches, coaches and has helped me through so much more than I can share here. I feel blessed to count Lynn as one of my best friends.
- Dianne Baergen – the musical voice of an angel (she’s been truly touched by God), and the biggest heart. A discerning spirit, the ability to calm, and mindfull of what is really important. I am blessed that God has brought us together and that we are soul sisters.

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!
