Noel Tag Swag
By Helen | August 5, 2010
As I promised you, I’m going to continue to play along with the Heart 2 Heart Challenges…only now, since I’m no longer on the Design Team, I have to wait until Mondays to see what the challenge is, then plan, and play, and design…well, you get the idea.
I thought it would be fun to use one of the papers that in the $2, $4, $6 for 8 days sale, the Jingle Paper Pack to create something for the holidays a set of tags that can be used on a tree or put on a garland or a swag.
I took the tags outside to our evergreen tree to hang them – I really love the way they look suspended.
I also tried them on my Juniper bush to see how they would look in a garland on a mantle…what do you think?
Close ups and instructions for each of the individual tags.
Using Tulip and 2nd generation stamping, stamp the ornament base on a scrap of White Daisy cardstock. Cut out. Over-stamp using the ornament design again in 2nd generation. Using a Foam Tool and Tulip, ink the outer edges. Using Tulip, stamp the letter. The ornament and letter are popped up with 3D Foam Tape. Tip: The 3D Foam Tape tears easily, meaning your scissors never get gunked up – just tear off as much or as little as you need. Tip: Pick up and place the Sparkles using a Piercing Tool to get them right where you want them!.
Using Creme Brulee, stamp the present on a scrap of White Daisy cardstock. Cut out. Using Tulip and 2nd generation stamping, stamp the bow on a scrap of White Daisy cardstock. Cut out. Using Juniper, stamp the letter. The present and the letter are popped up with 3D Foam Tape.
Using Creme Brulee, stamp the letter. The letter is popped up using 3D Foam Tape.
Using Juniper, stamp the trees on a scrap of White Daisy cardstock. Cut out. Remove the guide from the Corner Rounder and use it to create a scalloped edge. Tip: Overlap the “smile” of the scallop to get a continuous scalloped edge – practice, practice, and you’ll get it!

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!
