Scrapbook Challenge 35 from Reflections using Jingle
By Helen | November 29, 2009
The Jingle paper pack is very versatile – yes, it has a lot of holiday spirit and yet, it works for capturing birthdays and other events too! As you know, I have three boys…so, I went with the darker Tulip polka dot pattern. If I were making this same layout for a girl, I’d flip the Tulip polka dot over and use the softer pastel side.
Circles are the rage right now, and the Dimensional Elements On Target make using circles a breeze! Just pop out the shape and use as is – it’s a beautiful white…or, you can add ink, stamping, cover with paper, paint – the choice is yours! I wanted to use one of the larger circles that were left after doing the six pages from my Get More Done scrapbook club. I picked one of the Main Frame designs, and then swapped out the circle for the large square. The wavy stripe complements the circle and adds a playful feel to these pages.
This week’s pattern comes to us from the CTMH Reflections how-to book. The left page is the Title Topper – Equal PortionsTM pattern on page 18 and the right page is the Half & Half – Perfect Square TM pattern on page 85. If you like using page maps or page sketches…or, if you’ve never tried them and would like to, email me and I’ll send you a few PDF files from the different CTMH how-to books to try.
The stamp set that comes with the Jingle Workshop on the Go kit includes a variety of presents and words. I used the stamps to create these accents…
Is it ribbon? No – it’s stamping! The piece across the bottom (under the present) is all stamped! I started with the dashes in Juniper, then added the dots in Tulip and edged the piece with Creme Brulee before matting it with Juniper cardstock.
Have fun playing with this layout. I’d love to see what you create!

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!
