Scrapbook Challenge 36 using Tinkerin’ in Studio J
By Helen | December 6, 2009
I got to play with Studio J today (a perk for the CTMH Consultants who attended Leadership Conference 2009) and finished a layout that I thought I’d share as this week’s Scrapbook Challenge. Studio J is going to have a variety of patterns that come from the Cherish and Imagine how-to books. More about Studio J in a minute.
This week’s Scrapbook Challenge comes to us from the Imagine how-to book and is the Leading Lady pattern on page 16.
Studio J is SO EASY to use! Look at all the detail I could do in just a few minutes:
- Adding the wavy sticker to the top of ribbon.
- Adding colored brads.
- Using the online My Stickease to do a title…and resizing them to fit where I wanted the title!
- Adding a Vellum journaling block.
- Distressing the edges of the white paper to look like it has Twilight cross-hatch inking – how cool!
See those grey arrows at the top of the photo? I used the one on the far left to rotate the page to accomodate a landscape format photo. You can use the arrows in the middle to swap the left and right pages. There are so many fun things you can do.
I’m going to be ordering this layout so I’ll be able to show you the finished product.
Would you like to have “early access” to Studio J? You can! And…you’ll get a discount on all your purchases too! Just ask me for details.

Have fun playing with this layout. I’d love to see what you create!

- Post the photos on your Facebook Wall or in your Facebook Photo Album – friend me so I can see them. In the description, put a link to the scrapbook challenge.
- Post on a public blog, and link here.
- Post them on Splitcoaststampers (SCS). For the keywords, please put: HOSSC36 and CTMH.
When you leave your comments, make sure you let us know where we can see YOUR creation!

Although I didn’t use real papers…you can! If you are in one of my Get More Done scrapbook clubs, this layout can be made with the patterned papers that remain in your kit. All you would need to add are two sheets of White Daisy Cardstock and some a scrap of White Daisy Cardstock for the putting the title. One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!
