Scrapbook Challenge 49 – Water FUN

Yesterday, the birds were chirping and the daffodils have started to come up. Soon, we’ll be wearing short sleeves and heading to the beach!
This month, I’m featuring the Caboodle paper pack in my Get More Done Scrapbook Clubs. Each month, I feature one of the paper packs and create SIX pages (three two-page layouts) that my club members do. OR…if you are a card maker, there are SIX cards to make! That’s why it’s called my “Get More Done” club.
When I looked at the distressed Vanilla Cream paper in the Caboodle Level 2 paper pack, and the Boat and Sandcastle stickers, I thought – I just have to do a beachy, water FUN layout…and here it is…
This week’s scrapbook challenge is the Shadow pattern on page 115 of the Imagine how-to book. I added a piece of Heavenly Blue cardstock for the photo mats – I love how this color ties in with the Caboodle papers.
While the circle stickers could easily be used whole, I had to do something different with them to show you more possibilities. This pattern provides some great locations for using the stickers cut into smaller sections like this…
I positioned the sticker over the corner, getting the sentence to line up, then cut the sticker. The remaining piece was used in the lower left corner.
Materials:
- CTMH Caboodle Level 2 Paper Pack X7121B
- CTMH Caboodle My Stickease X7121C
- CTMH piece of Heavenly Blue Cardstock

i just love this layout. I would not of thought to use caboodle as a water layout…Love the stamp set tooo.. Crossing my fingers that it is in my collection somewhere…I can’t remember if i got that one.
