Scrapbook Challenge 65 – Travel Layout
By Helen | June 27, 2010
As we approach the warmer weather, travel seems to be something on everyone’s mind…so, I created a Travel Scrapbook Layout for this week’s Scrapbook Challenge. This is the Three-Part Harmony pattern on page 44 of the Imagine How-To Book.
The Bamboo cardstock shows you the placement for the photos. I’m going to use the area under the two small photos on the left page for the journaling. This will be a great layout to capture our road trip from NJ to WA!
Do you like using page maps or page sketches…email me for free sample PDFs of the CTMH How-To Books to try. And…if you’re big into card making, there are how-to books for that too!
Materials:
- CTMH Passages Workshop Basic Kit (includes the Pewter Mini-Medley Collection) G1010 or Passages Level 2 Paper Pack X7126B
- CTMH Lifetime Stamp Set from the Passages Workshop Basic Kit - used to stamp the stitching on the Barn Red strips
- CTMH Ticket to Ride Stamp Set from the Zippidee Workshop Basic Kit – used to stamp the word “Adventure” and the Route To image
- CTMH Pewter Mini-Medley Collection Z1243
- CTMH Metal Brads Z1217 – bigger brads
- CTMH Passages Marks Z1318
- CTMH Cocoa Designer Ribbon Rounds Z1316
- CTMH Booksmart Dimensional Elements Z1223
- CTMH Cocoa Ink
- CTMH Foam Tools Z1090
- CTMH Imagine How-To Book 9030
For those in my Get More Done Club – you can make this layout with the patterned papers that remain after completing the SIX pages for my Passages Workshop. I added cardstock in Barn Red and Brown Bag plus two sheets of Colonial White cardstock for the bases. Attend one of my Get ‘Em Done events and you can use my stamp sets to recreate this layout!

Friendly Reminder – every day on my website, CTMH is having a Jackpot Day or a Goodie Box Day – amazing savings and discounted shipping. I recommend that you set a daily reminder or alarm on your phone to check it out so you don’t miss out on the great deals!

Pull out some OTHER papers and see what YOU come up with using this pattern. Have fun playing with this layout. I’d love to see what you create!
1.Post the photos on my Facebook Fan Page – you can upload them into the photo album there.
2.Post the photos on your Facebook Wall or in your Facebook Photo Album – friend me so I can see them. In the description, put a link to the scrapbook challenge.
3.Post on a public blog, and link here.
4.Post them on Splitcoaststampers (SCS). For the keywords, please put: HOSSC65 and CTMH.
When you leave your comments, make sure you let us know where we can see YOUR creation!

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!

Helen you have got to at least call me when you get to town. Email me at ionass@comcast.net and I can give you my number. I thought one time you said that you come to the coast or at least nearby. Let me know if you get close hehe. Love your LO and the challenges. I have some pictures I took Friday, Saturday and today at Pirate Daze here in Westport, WA. I need to do up a Pirate LO this time so need to figure out colors etc…I have the “Ahoy Matey” stamp set that will fit right in. Thanks for posting and I will look forward to travels with Helen.

Hey Helen!
Your layouts have given me so much inspiration as I start to scrap our Paris trip we took 17 years ago this weekend. Thank you for all the inspiration you’ve given with ALL your challenges!
Love them all!
