Scrapbook Challenge 74 – Magical Moments Indeed!
By Helen | August 29, 2010
I am having so much fun travelling cross-country with two of my three boys – Robert & Kenneth. We’re driving Robert’s car out to Washington…state that is…for college. One of the highlights of our trip – a stop at one of Rick Bayless’ restaurants, XOCO (pronounced cho-ko).
I used a set of Reflections patterns found in Studio J – this is something new that’s been recently added…so exciting! These are the Sidebar – Photo Accent and Sidebar – Balancing Act patterns.
A couple Studio J tips for you:
- You can resize an object, then use copy & paste to use it over and over again.
- You can change the color of your text to match your papers.
- You can use coordinating colors of cardstock and embellishments that aren’t in the featured kit — like the Bamboo cardstock for my bases & the journaling block.
- And…you can change a journaling spot to a photo – I did that to be able to use the XOCO awning as my title for the website.
Do you like using page maps or page sketches…email me for free sample PDFs of the CTMH How-To Books to try. And…if you’re big into card making, there are how-to books for that too!
You can recreate this layout using the Magic Moments level 2 paper pack and My Stickease, plus Sweet Leaf ribbons and assorted color brads. Or…just play in Studio J!
Speaking of Studio J…starting September 1st, you’ll be able to get discounted layouts with a Studio J membership.
Question for you…I’m looking into hosting an online class for using Studio J – would you be interested? Please leave me a comment about what you’d like to learn.

One of the things I love about being a CTMH Consultant is the ability to make a difference in the life of a child. For just $240 Operation Smile provides life changing clef palette and clef lip surgeries. A portion of every CTMH stamp set sold goes to Operation Smile. Imgaine giving a mother the gift of her child's smile - so rewarding!

Helen, I would love to watch this at any time. I have never used Studio J because I don’t have a website and could not use it even if my customers wanted it right now. I just can’t afford the website with me not working. I just feel left out when it comes to Studio J. Any help in this area would be much appreciated.
