Turtle Scrapbook Layout

By Helen | June 8, 2009

Here’s my layout for Scrapbook Challenge 10.

sc-005

I used CTMH’s new Back Country Level 2 Paper Pack.  My scrapbook clubs will be making this same layout plus two other two-page layouts in June.

sc-006

I stamped the title with Barn Red ink using E1013 Field Trip Alphabet Stamp Set.  For both the title and the journaling block, I sponged on Barn Red ink to soften the look.

sc-007

Pewter brads and the new Dimensional Elements In Color – Adventure are perfect additions.

sc-008

The top part of this element spins!  I set it so the wording “Wildlife encounter” is visible.  There are different sayings beginning with N, S, E and W, just like the compass.

What an awesome take on this sketch! The Back Country papers go so well with that cool turtle.
