At my first Close To My Heart home gathering (actually – they were called “parties” then), I fell in love with stamping!  A little dog “Wags” made his way into my heart and my love of stamping began.  What started as a way to make affordable birthday cards for all the parties my 3 boys were attending, quickly grew into a hobby that was a great escape from my life in the corporate world.

Before long, I was getting together with friends and we’d have crafting days.  In 1996, I joined CTMH (at that time we were still D.O.T.S. – Dozens of Terrific Stamps) as a way to get a personal discount and offer the products to my friends.  I never expected for this to become the career it has.

In 2003, life changed drastically for me and my family.  My father passed away, my husband was laid off, I learned I was being laid off and we moved from Colorado to New Jersey – wow.  After searching and searching for a new job, one day, my darling husband asked, “Is there a way for you to make money doing that thing you do with paper?”  I set off to our annual convention with a mission to interview as many CTMH Consultants at higher levels in the company and find the answer.

Now, here I am, and CTMH is my career. I am actively working my business and supporting The Smile Patrol – my team of consultants who come from all across the United States.  Our team meets via interactive conference calls, we have a team website where we share artwork, business tips & ideas, and support one another.  I also offer one-on-one coaching, training & mentoring with my team members.  I work all aspects of the business – from home gatherings, running clubs, mail-order clubs, vending at crops, craft fairs, expos and most importantly – team building.  As such, I have LOTS of experience to share with YOU.
